I love Western Europe and have spent a significant portion of my life in Brussels. I love to learn more about the people and culture that make this region so much fun to visit.

As you might expect from a city that’s dubbed “capital of Europe”, Brussels enjoys strong attractions links – not only within Belgium and Europe but throughout the globe. For the active tourist, navigating through the city on foot is a distinct possibility. Many of the interesting landmarks are located fairly close together which makes walking a pleasurable way of seeing the town, particularly in the warmer months. The Bozar is a centre of cultural and artistic life in Brussels. A full renovation of the interior restored the original appearance of the building, as originally designed by the master, Horta.

9. Parc du Cinquantenaire

The Cinquantenaire Parc is a must-see place in the South-East part of the Brussels city. The splendid historic structure is spread over an area of 90 acres in the eastern European part of the Belgium capital and is easily accessible by the metro. The magnificent Neo Classical arch is the centerpiece and houses three museums, with the serene Jubilee Park spread out in front.

Another magnificent and enjoyable place to visit while visiting Brussels is St. Michael and St. Gudula Cathedral which is a Roman Catholic Church located at the Treurenberg hill in Brussels.
